
The Charter
“Fasting and Hiking ®”
As members of the French-speaking Federation of Fasting and Hiking,
we are committed to respecting the following FFJR charter:
Art. 1
FFJR-certified stays are free from any political, partisan, or religious affiliation.
Art. 2
The FFJR offers Buchinger-type dietary fasting stays (water, herbal teas, filtered broths, and diluted fruit or vegetable juices) of 7 days or less, combined with walking in nature as the main activity.
Art. 3
FFJR-certified stays are intended for adults in good health (which do not require medical care).
Art. 4
FFJR-certified Fasting Guides provide qualified supervision for both fasting and hiking.
Art. 5
FFJR-certified Fasting Guides provide information about fasting, nutrition, and healthy living is made available to all.
Art. 6
FFJR-certified Fasting Companions use natural, organic, and local products and offer a stay free of alcohol, tobacco, and drugs.
Art. 7
FFJR-certified Fasting Guides apply the basic rules of kindness, discretion, and the duty of confidentiality.
Art. 8
The FFJR implements a Quality Control approach: FFJR-certified Fasting Guides undertake to provide the Quality Questionnaire to all fasting guests during each stay.
